Every door gets a decision: fail-safe or fail-secure, what happens in a power cut, and who can override. We wire it that way and document it.
Common questions
Whatever you decided, per door, in writing, before anything was wired. A stock room stays locked. A fire exit releases. Getting that decision the wrong way round is the most expensive mistake in this trade.
